Stellenbosch University will be hosting the Southern African Sustainable Energy Conference (SASEC 2024) from the 13 to 15 November 2024 at the Lord Charles Hotel in the Western Cape of South Africa.

This truly international conference, with a Southern African flavour, focuses on research, development and deployment of methodologies, technologies and systems related to sustainable energy (i.e. energy that can be replenished in the short-term, with no long-term environmental damage).

SASEC 2024 provides the opportunity for researchers, engineers, industry practitioners and policy/decision makers to share and discuss recent developments in the field. It is a particularly good opportunity for postgraduate students to showcase their research progress, and to develop knowledge and networks in the field.

Presentations at SASEC will be subject to the acceptance of an abstract and full paper. Selected papers will be published in Springer and Elsevier journals/Book Series.
